HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Miley Cyrus may be insisting that she's dating anyone, but her public displays of affection may be getting in the way of that.
Alex Emanuel, an actor who has appeared on such shows as "Sex and the City" and Law & Order," witnessed Cyrus "full-on making out" last Wednesday with Australian hunk Liam Hemsworth, her co-star in the upcoming film "The Last Song."
Emanuel told the mag that Cyrus was "as giddy as a schoolgirl" when she locked lips with Hemsworth as he prepared to catch a flight at the airport in Nashville, Tenn.
"It was like a scene out of an old movie where the guy's getting on a train and they're saying their goodbyes," Emanuel said of the passionate scene.
The 16-year-old Cyrus has posted on her Twitter page that she does "not have a boyfriend," but the pair reportedly got close on the set of the film, which recently wrapped shooting in Tybee, Georgia.
Hemsworth, 18, plays Cyrus's love interest in the coming-of-age drama so it's certainly not a stretch to say that sparks began to fly on set.
Cyrus split with underwear model Justin Gaston in June.
