HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Melissa Rycroft has tied the knot.
The jilted Bachelor contestant married her longtime boyfriend, insurance agent Tye Strickland, in a sunset ceremony Saturday in Mexico, American Superstar has learned.
According to Us Weekly, a barefoot Rycroft wore a strapless corsetted Alfred Angelo gown. Her father escorted her down the aisle at the intimate affair, which was held at a home on Isla Mujeres, a small island near Cancun. The couple sealed their marriage with a kiss to the tune of Monday Night Football's theme song, an ode to Rycroft's days as a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader.
Rycroft, 26, and Strickland, 28, first met three years ago in their hometown of Dallas. After a split, they rekindled their romance in January after Rycroft was famously dumped by Bachelor star Jason Mesnick.
"I'm really happy for her," Mesnick told People when contacted about Rycroft's wedding. "This whole journey took her to a place where things looked like they were down for her. But then she ended up with the person she was mean to be with. That's what life's all about. I couldn't be happier for her."
