HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Actress Mariska Hargitay was hospitalized Tuesday night after experiencing chest pains, a rep for the star confirmed to Access Hollywood.
"She is undergoing routine tests and expects to be feeling better soon," the "Law & Order: SVU" star's rep told Access in a statement Wednesday.
The 45-year-old Hargitay suffered a collapsed lung in January and her rep said yesterday's "discomfort" was related to her hospitalization earlier this year.
The Emmy winner, who attended Monday's opening night of "Guys & Dolls" on Broadway, is not expected to miss any time on the series.
Hargitay received an Emmy Award last year for her role as Detective Olivia Benson on the show.
More recently, she picked up nominations for both the Golden Globes and Screen Actors Guild Awards.
