HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Jesse James hasn't given up hope that he can win back Sandra Bullock's heart despite his alleged infidelity.
"When all is said and done, he wants the same people who were living in his house before all this happened to still be living there," his attorney, Joe Yanny, told People magazine. "And he wants to save his marriage with the woman he loves more than anything in his life."
Last week, the 40-year-old James checked into an Arizona treatment facility, where Yanny said he's "is doing as well as he can be."
"He's focusing on what he's doing and trying to make himself better," the attorney said.
Yanny also lashed out at the media coverage of James since the scandal first broke last month.
"The First Amendment was not meant to cover the sexual lives of people who are not in office," he said. "This is sheer voyeurism and bullying, pure and simple. It's disgusting."
Bullock, 45, and James have been married since 2005.
