HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Lauren Conrad has another golden achievement for her resume
The 23-year-old reality TV star's new book, L.A. Candy, has made the New York Times Best Seller list for the second week in a row.
"If someone said to me five years ago when this all started that I would one day make the New York Times Best Seller list I wouldn't have believed it," the former "Hills" star told People of the accomplishment. "I am so honored that it is now a reality."
Last September, Conrad inked a three-book deal to scribe the L.A. Candy series for publisher HarperCollins. The series is based loosely on Conrad's own life, telling the story of a young girl named Jane Roberts who moves to L.A. and unexpectedly becomes the star of a reality television show.
Conrad now finds her name among the literary elite, just weeks after the first L.A. Candy book was released.
"[It's] such a compliment to be included in something with such established names," she said.
