HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Lauren Conrad is ready for the cameras to start following her life again.
After running from The Hills, the 24-year-old starlet has confirmed she'll be starring in a new MTV reality series.
"I've always been open to doing reality again," Conrad said Friday on Ryan Seacrest's KISS-FM radio show. "Just under certain circumstances. As long as you have a separation, then it works. You have your personal life and you have work life; when it's combined, it's difficult."
While she wasn't ready to give away too many details, the fashion designer said the new program will follow her career and take place in L.A. Conrad also said that her current boyfriend, actor Kyle Howard, won't be on the show.
MTV is expected to make an official announcement about the series next week. It is slated to begin airing in October.
The network's cameras first started rolling on Conrad in 2004 when she was a high school student on Laguna Beach. The show's success led to The Hills spinoff, which debuted two years later.
Conrad left The Hills after five seasons.
