HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Larry King's latest marriage is coming to an end.
Both the legendary talk-show host and his wife, Shawn Southwick, filed divorce papers Wednesday in Los Angeles. Hours later, TMZ reported the couple's marriage fell apart after Southwick accused King of having an affair with her sister, Shannon Engemann.
"I did not have an affair with Larry," Engemann told the celebrity gossip site. "He's been like a father to me."
Engemann admitted her sister has been accusing her of having an affair for months because of several expensive gifts she's received from King.
"This is so ludicrous," she said. "She's singling me out, but Larry has been nothing but generous to our entire family, including me."
King, 76, and Southwick, 50, married in 1997. They have two children together, Cannon, 9, and Chance, 11. She also has an older son, Danny, 28, from a previous marriage.
The CNN host has previously been married six times.
