HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Larry King's seventh marriage may not be over after all.
The CNN host and his estranged wife, Shawn Southwick, are heading to counseling on Monday in an effort to save their marriage, TMZ reports.
King filed divorce papers last Wednesday, citing "irreconcilable differences" for the couple's split.
Southwick followed with her own divorce filing the same day amid rumors that King was having an affair with her sister, Shannon Engemann.
King, 76, and Southwick, 50, married in 1997. They have two sons together, Chance, 11, and Cannon, 9. She also has an older son, Danny, 28, from a previous marriage.
The pair spent the weekend together at their son's baseball game in Los Angeles. They also chatted it up for the cameras at their son's game the day after they both filed for divorce, a sight many felt may have been a publicity stunt at the time.
"There's a 50-50 chance this divorce is not happening," King's attorney, Dennis Wasser, told People. "His focus is on the best interest of his children. It's not clear to me which way he's going to turn on this issue."
