Lady Gaga Dominates 2010 MTV Video Music Awards

Lady Gaga, VMAs, MTV, Video Music Awards, pictures, picture, photos, photo, pics, pic, images, image, hot, sexy, latest, new, 2010LOS ANGELES — Lady Gaga won a record eight moonmen trophies, including video of the year, to dominate the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards held Sunday night in Los Angeles.

Gaga accepted the evening's top prize in a meat dress - a controversial outfit made out of what appeared to be raw cuts of beef.

Eminem, who opened this year's awards with a triumphant performance, walked away with two statues for best male video and best hip-hop video.

Also walking away victorious was Justin Bieber, who won best new artist.

Both Kanye West and Taylor Swift took the stage at last night's event, a year after the hip-hop star famously stole the microphone and interrupted the country star's acceptance speech at the VMAs. Swift sang "Innocence," an emotional song she wrote about how she felt after last year's incident. West followed later with the debut of "Runaway," a track about the turbulence that followed his VMA meltdown.

Comedienne Chelsea Handler hosted the event, which took place at the Nokia Theater.
