HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Kim Kardashian is grateful that she's had a chance to rebuild her public image since her now infamous sex tape leaked in 2007.
"It was humiliating. But now let's move on," the reality star tells the September issue of Allure. "Not that I don't think it's [no one's] business, but I think I've done a good job of replacing negative things with positive things. Doing a show with my entire family, I think people got to see the real me."
That show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, is actually something the Armenian beauty dreamed about at a very early age.
"In elementary school, The Real World came on, and I was like, That's it! I know I want to be on a reality show," she remembers. "And I was like, OK, when I'm old enough, I will make an audition tape."
Growing up, Kardashian says she was influenced by a wide variety of stars.
"In high school, I loved Salma Hayek and Jennifer Lopez and very ethnic beauties," she says. "I loved Marilyn Monroe and Sophia Loren, and Elizabeth Taylor, I'd have to say, is one of my favorites."
As for the future, Kardashian says she is looking forward to finding the man of her dreams and getting pregnant.
"In five years I would hope to be settled down, have a baby or two," says Kardashian, who is reportedly dating Dallas Cowboys star Miles Austin. "I always thought, For sure, when I'm 30, I'll have four kids like my mom."
