HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Kendra Wilkinson is proving she can carry her own weight.
The Playboy Playmate's reality series "Kendra" has been renewed by E! for a season season, the network announced Tuesday.
The breakout show debuted in June and is currently averaging about 2 million viewers. The series chronicles Wilkinson's marriage to Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Hank Baskett.
The network ordered 12 additional episodes and also said that it will air two specials in December. The bonus shows will feature the birth of the couple's first child, as well as Wilkinson's relocation to New Jersey in order to live year-round with Baskett.
"We saw a marriage in Season 1, and now we are going to see Kendra navigate the unfamiliar waters of being a newlywed and a new parent all at the same time," said E! executive Lisa Berger in a statement. "We can't wait to be there with her every step of the way."
Wilkinson first became a household name when she starred with fellow Playmates Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt on E!'s "Girl's Next Door."
