HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Kelly Osbourne still isn't over her breakup with ex-fiancé Luke Worrall.
"It's been the hardest thing I've ever had to deal with in a long time, and I'm not over it," the reality star said Thursday during her appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. "And for a while I thought ... a small part of me wanted to still be with him, but it's not right."
Osbourne, 25, and Worrall, 20, got engaged in November 2008 after six months of dating. But the twosome called off their engagement back in July amid reports the British model cheated on Osbourne.
"The best your relationship is ever going to be is how it is when you're dating," she told DeGeneres. "We weren't happy anymore. I had to go to the next step in my life, and so did he, unfortunately."
Osbourne said this was the second time she's had her heart broken, but this was much worse than the first because she was engaged to Worrall.
"I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him, and a part of me still really does, but there is a huge part of me that doesn't," she explained.
While she still isn't ready to date again, Osbourne said she'll eventually be looking for someone to protect her.
"I need a man that's going to stand next to me and say, 'I don't care what anyone else says, that's my girlfriend. Shut up,' " she said. "And not many people will do that."
