HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Jorja Fox is returning to the scene of the crime.
The 41-year-old actress is coming back to the CBS drama "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," the network revealed Friday.
"We're thrilled for Jorja's return to 'CSI,'" the show's executive producer, Carol Mendelsohn, told The Associated Press.
Fox last appeared on "CSI" as a regular in 2007. Her last few years on the show were filled with bumps and bruises with the network, which ultimately led to her exit.
The New York City native portrays Las Vegas forensic scientist Sara Sidle on the hit series. Mendelsohn said viewers will find out where life has taken the character and what brings her back.
Fox will be back on the scene when the show returns for its 10th season on Sept. 24.
