HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Jon Gosselin and TLC have kissed and made up. Well, at least a little bit.
The two sides have reached a settlement in their dueling lawsuits against each other, the network announced Wednesday.
"TLC has reached a settlement with Jon Gosselin and will be undertaking procedural steps to conclude the litigation," read the network's statement. "All terms of the settlement are confidential. The whole Gosselin family remain under contract with TLC."
The wording of the statement seems to hint that Gosselin could be headed back to television. In October, TLC sued the Jon and Kate Plus 8 star for violating his contract by allegedly making paid and unpaid TV appearances without the cable network's permission. Gosselin responded by filing a $5 million countersuit, accusing TLC of damaging his career and reputation.
The turmoil between Gosselin and TLC heated up when the network revealed plans to focus on his ex-wife, Kate Gosselin, and rebrand the show Kate Plus 8. The showbiz dad responded by trying to halt filming of his children, which resulted in TLC suspending production on the series.
