HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Paula Abdul's empty chair at "American Idol" has another filler.
Joe Jonas will serve as a guest judge when "Idol" holds auditions in Dallas on Monday, a rep for the star confirmed Tuesday to People.
The 20-year-old member of the Jonas Brothers joins a growing list of stars helping to fill the void created by Abdul's departure earlier this month. Among the celebs who have signed on as guest judges for audition rounds are Victoria Beckham, Katy Perry, Mary J. Blige and Shania Twain.
One other person with close ties to the hit Fox reality series is also reportedly in the mix. According to the Los Angeles Times' Show Tracker, original "Idol" winner Kelly Clarkson is also close to signing on for guest-judge duty.
Clarkson last graced the "Idol" stage in March, while Jonas and his brothers performed on the show's season seven finale in 2008.
The Jonas Brothers are currently touring in support of their fourth studio album, "Lines, Vines and Trying Times."
