HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Following months of rumors, Jennifer Garner has finally confirmed that she and husband Ben Affleck are indeed expecting their second child.
"We're so excited, obviously," the 36-year-old actress told Access Hollywood at Wednesday's Baby Einstein 10th anniversary celebration in Los Angeles.
Perhaps still wanting to keep reporters guessing, Garner joked about the baby bump that's kept the tabloids buzzing of late.
"Oh I'm not pregnant," she told Access' Tony Potts. "I just had a lot of carbs for breakfast. It's just — what do they call it? A breakfast pouch? Bunch?"
While she's been in the public spotlight for years now, Garner said she's still amazed that the media won't take a chill pill.
"It always makes me laugh when people say 'Is she?' 'Isn't she?' It's like eventually you will know, so just chill out for a minute," she said.
Garner and Affleck, who started dating after co-starring in 2004's "Daredevil," married on June 29, 2005 in a surprise ceremony at the Parrot Cay resort on the Turks and Caicos Islands.
Garner said she isn't sweating being pregnant again, thanks to the couple's daughter Violet, who was born on Dec. 1, 2005.
"Yeah, been through it," she said. "It's all good, it's great. I'm really excited."
