HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — It's official: Jennifer Aniston is launching her first perfume.
The 41-year-old actress will debut her signature fragrance Lolavie in the U.K. at Harrods in June, with prices starting around $47 for a 50-ml. bottle, according to Women's Wear Daily.
"It wasn't just about showing up for a shoot and putting my name on a bottle. I felt like a little chemist," Aniston tells WWD of her experience developing the scent. "It's turned out to be an extension of myself as opposed to slapping my name on something."
Aniston promises her perfume, whose U.S. distribution has yet to be determined, will smell "sexy and clean."
"I want people to go, 'What is that? You smell great!' But most of all I wanted it to smell natural," she said.
So what's behind the name of her scent? Aniston says there's "a long story" behind Lolavie, which roughly translates into "laughing at life."
"Honestly, it's too personal to tell," she said.
