NEW YORK — A whole new set of fist pumpers may be on the way.
The Web is buzzing after a Blackbook magazine article said the third season of Jersey Shore would "feature an entirely new cast." The revelation was part of a feature on Doron Ofir, the casting genius behind the breakout reality series.
There have been reports that the Jersey Shore cast – Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, Paul "DJ Pauly D" DelVecchio, Jenni "JWoww" Farley, Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Vinny Guadagnino – demanded hefty pay raises after the MTV show hit a home run with viewers. All of the stars have already signed on for the upcoming second season, which will take place in both Miami and the familiar Seaside Heights.
MTV has yet to comment on the season three casting report.
The new season of Jersey Shore premieres on July 29 at 10 p.m.
