NEW YORK – Denise Richards will soon be an open book.
The 39-year-old actress is teaming up with Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, to publish a tell-all memoir about her rise to fame — from small town girl to Hollywood star.
The memoir will "touch on universal themes of love and loss, as well as marriage, divorce, and motherhood," the publisher said.
Richards famously divorced actor Charlie Sheen in 2006. The former lovers have two daughters, Sam, 6, and Lola, 5.
"I wanted to write a heartfelt, honest book that would be a source of hope for others going through difficult times," said Richards.
The memoir is scheduled to hit bookstores in July 2011.
