HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — It's over for Shia LaBeouf and Carey Mulligan.
The twosome, who began dating in August 2009 after meeting on the set of Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, split some time ago, according to People.
No reason was given for their breakup.
Earlier this year, LaBeouf, 24, gushed over Mulligan, 25, in an April interview with GQ magazine.
"I never really had anything in my life that was off-limits," explained LaBeouf. "But with this, just out of respect, I just don't want to f--- around."
"She's an unbelievably thought-provoking actress, the most talented actress I've ever met in my life, by leaps and bounds," he added. "Neither one of us are fame whores. It works out. It's not like we're the premiere couple; we're not the red-carpet king and queen."
