NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Country star Mindy McCready has been hospitalized after an apparent suicide attempt, The Associated Press reports.
The 33-year-old singer reportedly cut her wrists and took a variety of pills after a night out on Tuesday, AP says.
According to a police report obtained by Access Hollywood, McCready arrived "intoxicated" at her brother's house, where she is currently staying. He later checked on her condition and found her "not very alert" on her bed, which had "blood on it," according to the report.
McCready is currently listed in stable condition.
The "Guys Do It All the Time" singer has endured a number of legal and substance abuse problems in recent years. She was released from jail in October after violating her probation on a 2004 drug charge.
