NEW YORK — Comedian Greg Giraldo is in critical condition in a New Jersey hospital after suffering an accidental overdose on Saturday.
The 44-year-old funnyman was found unconscious by a friend after he overdosed on prescription pills at his hotel, according to reports.
Sources insist the overdose was not a suicide attempt, according to TMZ.
Giraldo most recently appeared as a judge on NBC's Last Comic Standing. He is also well known for his appearances on Howard Stern and Comedy Central's celebrity roasts.
