HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Clea DuVall is among the newest cast members for the Fox pilot "Virtuality," according to The Hollywood Reporter.
"Virtuality" is set aboard the Phaeton, Earth's first starship, on a journey to explore a distant solar system.
The 30-year-old actress will play the Phaeton's co-pilot and engineer, according to the trade publication.
The Los Angeles native's breakthrough role was in Robert Rodriguez's "The Faculty" in 1998, where she starred alongside Elijah Wood and Josh Hartnett. She has also appeared in such films as "Girl Interrupted," "The Astronaut's Wife," "She's All That," and the Oscar-nominated "21 Grams."
DuVall previously starred on the small screen in HBO's Emmy Award-winning "Carnivále," which ran from 2003-2005. She also previously appeared in a recurring role on NBC's hit series "Heroes."
Erik Jensen and Jose Pablo Cantillo were also added to the "Virtuality" cast. Jensen will play the Phaeton's navigator, while Cantillo will portray a mathematician.
