PLANO, Texas — Chace Crawford has been charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana after being arrested last week in his home state of Texas, TMZ reports.
Crawford, 24, was busted early last Friday in the parking lot outside of Ringo's Pub in Plano, where he was inside a car with a friend and cops discovered one unlit marijuana joint.
The Gossip Girl star could face up to six months in jail if convicted.
In a twist of irony, Crawford next stars as a drug dealer in the Joel Schumacher film Twelve. The movie, which also stars Emma Roberts, Kiefer Sutherland and 50 Cent, is scheduled to hit theaters next month.
