HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — CBS is hoping Americans can flex their muscles and make a hit show.
The network is developing a new reality series which will feature ordinary people in strength competitions, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The new series, currently titled "America's Strongest American," will differ from strongman shows seen on networks like ESPN as the challenges will be catered to average body types, the trade publication says.
"Strongest" is being produced by Michael Davies ("Who Wants to Be a Millionaire"), with Ben Bailey and Michele Merkin signed on as hosts.
The network has yet to reveal when the series will debut.
