HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Brody Jenner is gushing over his girlfriend, Playboy's 2008 Playmate of the Year, Jayde Nicole.
"We're completely smitten for each other," the 25-year-old "Bromance" star admits to People. "I'm loving life."
While the pair have been tied at the hip of late, Jenner admits they got off to a rocky start when he asked her to an event he was hosting in San Diego and she never showed.
"I was totally heartbroken," he tells the mag. "I was very upset because I had a crush on her."
Once the 22-year-old Playboy beauty came around, though, the pair have been nearly inseparable. Jenner attributes their great chemistry to the fact they knew each other long before they started dating.
"The reason why I love this girl so much is because she knows me," Jenner tells People. "She gets it ... She knows my background."
While together they make one of Hollywood's hottest couples, Jenner tells the magazine that he and his girlfriend prefer a quiet night over hitting the L.A. club scene.
"We stay in, maybe bake cookies," he says. "It sounds kind of lame, I know — sorry, boys! — but we bake some cookies, watch DVDs and have nice quality home time."
