HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Let the good times roll again for Bret Michaels!
The rocker has announced his comeback plans after suffering a massive brain hemorrhage last month that nearly ended his life. He'll start by making his first televised appearance since the medical scare on The Oprah Winfrey Show on May 19.
Michaels, 47, is also hoping to attend the live May 23 season finale of The Celebrity Apprentice, a feat that would bring a smile to his boss' face, Donald Trump.
"We really hope that Bret is well and able to join us at the finale," said Trump. "I have much respect as he is a fighter and strong competitor."
Michaels has also announced plans to return to the stage for the first time. He'll resume his solo tour on May 28 at the Hard Rock Live in Biloxi, Miss. He'll also begin a summer run with Lynyrd Skynyrd on June 10 in West Palm Beach, Fla.
The singer, who is in the midst of rescheduling dates postponed by his hospitalization, will remain on tour until at least December. The dates will be in support of his forthcoming album, Custom Built, which drops on June 8. The album features a duet with Miley Cyrus, titled "Nothing to Lose."
Michaels has been undergoing physical therapy twice a day since suffering a subarachnoid hemorrhage on April 21.
