HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Bethenny Frankel is gushing over her fiance Jason Hoppy after the pair got engaged earlier this month.
"It feels great, because I'm with the right person," the Real Housewives of New York City star tells People. "He may be regretting it because it's been beyond a week and he's in panic mode – [but] no, we're enjoying it."
Frankel and Hoppy, both 38, got engaged on Oct. 8 after dating for 11 months. The reality star's beau popped the question with a 6 ½-carat rock that he pulled out after filling Frankel's Upper East Side apartment with votive candles and rose petals.
"I made him pick them up. This was the first thing we had to resolve," she joked.
While Hoppy admits that he has his work cut out for him, he is more than up for the challenge.
Said Hoppy: "She is very much a handful but one thing she did say to me is she needs a man that can handle her, and that I can."
