HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — With her time on "The Hills" coming to an end, Audrina Patridge is looking forward to having her own "real" show.
"It's a behind-the-scenes look at my life in L.A.—the movies and shoots and parties," the 24-year-old actress tells Maxim of her new series, which will be produced by "Survivor's" Mark Burnett. "It's not as glamorous as it appears, plus it'll actually feature people I know. It's, like, real."
Whether or not Patridge's word choice was in reference to those long rumors that the "Hills" is scripted is unknown, but she did say it was time to move on from the MTV hit.
"You know, it's just something that I felt inside," she said of her decision to leave. "I'm an adult now, and I don't need all the petty drama and drinking and fighting. I've done that, and I'm ready to move on."
Moving on for Patridge includes her new film "Sorority Row," which arrives in theaters this weekend.
"I play a sorority girl who gets cheated on. And if you cheat on one Theta Pi, you cheat on all Theta Pis, so me and the other sisters decide to pull a prank on my boyfriend—which does not go according to plan," she says. "It's very gory, but it also has a lot of comedy, so when you're not getting scared and jumping, you're laughing."
