HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Good news Twilight fans: Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz have settled their salary disputes and signed on for Breaking Dawn.
In a statement released Wednesday, Summit Entertainment confirmed that the entire Cullen family – Greene, Lutz, Peter Facinelli, Jackson Rathbone, Elizabeth Reaser and Nikki Reed – will all return in Breaking Dawn, the latest installment of the hit franchise that is expected to be split into two separate movies.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Greene and Lutz will earn in the neighborhood of $1.25 million for each of the final movies. While that represents a steep pay increase, it is a far cry from the reported $2 to 4 million they were reportedly seeking.
Catherine Hardwicke, who directed the first Twilight film, expressed her fears last weekend that a deal might not get done for Greene and Lutz.
"It would really break my heart if they were replaced, but it could happen," she said at the Twilight Convention in Vancouver.
Breaking Dawn, which will be directed by Bill Condon, is scheduled to begin production in the fall.
