LOS ANGELES - Britney Spears and director Wayne Isham are taking inspiration from Spears' everyday life for the singer's new music video, "Piece of Me," the second single off her "Blackout" album.
The video was shot in Los Angeles on Tuesday at "Social Hollywood" nightclub and features Spears with a troop of dancers all wearing identical blonde wigs and black trench coats.
"The paparazzi are following [Britney], so they're dressed alike to trick them," a source told People magazine this week. "They all go into a club to get away. One [photographer] sneaks in, but Britney, in the end, discovers him."
This is the second time Spears has enlisted the creative talent of Isham. The 49-year old director also worked on the singer's "I'm Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman" video.
The premise of the video echoes Spears' real life, as she is hounded by paparazzi everywhere she goes. The 25-year-old pop star is still involved in a custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline over the custody of their two boys, Preston and Jayden James.
