HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Anne Hathaway is a princess without a diary.
The FBI has reportedly confiscated the actress's personal journals as part of their ongoing investigation involving her ex-boyfriend, Raffaello Follieri, according to Rush & Molloy of New York's Daily News.
Hathaway's diaries were seized during a raid on Follieri's Trump Tower home, in which photos of the Italian businessman with Bill and Hillary Clinton, Pope John Paul II, and John and Cindy McCain were also said to have been confiscated. Personal photos of the couple, a Tiffany clock and an antique Bible were also seized.
The 25-year-old actress has reportedly "cut off all contact" with the 30-year-old Follieri, ever since she ended the couple's four-year romance shortly before his arrest in June, in which he is accused of fraud and money laundering.
Hathaway, who starred in Disney's "Princess Diaries," has not been charged, but the seized documents could provide investigators with more leads in the case against Follieri.
Sources tell Rush & Molloy that Follieri wonders if Hathaway was involved in a sting operation.
"He was in Europe, working on a deal," the source reveals. "He didn't have to come back to New York. He knew he was being investigated. But she kept calling him, saying they needed to resolve their future. A few days after his return, he was arrested."
When asked about the allegation, the star's rep declined to comment to the gossip column on "nonsense" and "false assumptions."
Follieri has been the subject of other legal scandals in the past. In April, he was arrested for allegedly passing a bad check in the amount of $215,000. In addition, he was sued by his former business partner a year ago.
