Perry brought her candy-coated splendor to the Toyota Summer Concert Series. The pop star performed a pair of hits off her new album Teenage Dream, including the title track and her summer anthem "California Gurls." Perry also performed her 2008 breakout hit song "I Kissed a Girl."

When asked about her engagement to comedian Russell Brand, Perry joked: "He is very romantic and nobody else can compare to him – besides maybe Matt Lauer."
