HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Harry Potter star Tom Felton is setting the record straight after rumors spread that he might be the father of a secret love child.
The scandal began on Nov. 21 when an anonymous postcard was posted online suggesting that Felton or one of his six costars in the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 had a hidden past.
"One of these men is the father of the most amazing little girl in the world," read the caption posted alongside headshots of each men. "He's never met her. He never will. He probably can't even remember my name."
With speculation flying across the Web, the 23-year-old British actor, who is dating film assistant Jade Olivia, decided to address the rumors head on.
"My friend just found this on the web! Just to confirm that I can be cancelled out of this equation," Felton said on his Twitter page Wednesday.
Also removing themselves from the love child controversy are Oliver and James Phelps, who play twins George and Fred Weasley, respectively.
"Apart from making me laugh, i can honestly say its 100% not me," Oliver said on Twitter.
"To clear things up, this isn't me," added James. "Funny, but nothing to do with me."
The others on the postcard — Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Jason Isaacs and Alan Rickman — have yet to comment on the controversy.
