HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Actress Scarlett Johansson and British comedian Russell Brand have been added to the list of presenters for the upcoming Oscars, organizers revealed Monday via Twitter.
Johansson is currently shooting the Cameron Crowe-directed We Bought a Zoo, while Brand has two films arriving in April – the animated Hop and the comedy remake Arthur.
The King's Speech racked up 12 nominations, including best picture, to lead the field of contenders for this year Academy Awards. The British drama also scored acting nods for Colin Firth, Helena Bonham Carter and Geoffrey Rush.
The other nominees for best picture are Black Swan, The Fighter, Inception, The Kids Are All Right, 127 Hours, The Social Network, Toy Story 3, True Grit and Winter's Bone.
The 83rd annual Academy Awards will air live on ABC this Sunday from Hollywood's Kodak Theatre.
