HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Kate Gosselin is setting the record straight concerning reports that two of her kids were recently expelled from school.
"Two of my children, no, are being tutored at home, with a teacher who is working closely with our kindergarten teachers in school, doing the identical curriculum," Kate tells Entertainment Tonight host Mary Hart.
So what led to the sudden change in schooling for two of her sextuplets, Collin and Alexis, both 6?
"The pressure was getting to them," explained Kate. "You have the divorce anger mixed in with that."
While the children are still dealing with the fallout of her 2009 divorce from ex-husband Jon Gosselin, the mother of eight said, "the goal is to get them back into school as soon as possible."
As for Thanksgiving, Kate said the family's children will be celebrating the holiday with both parents.
"We have been able to work out the holiday time peacefully," she said. "So I will have the first half, he will have the second half, and, we just take it year by year, and holiday by holiday."
