HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Ted Williams, the homeless man with the golden voice, has landed his very own reality show.
Williams, 53, will star in Second Chances at Life, which will document how he went from a promising radio career to living on the streets to becoming a YouTube sensation and now rebuilding his life, his rep tells TMZ.
The series will reportedly begin shooting in two weeks, with plans to film in Brooklyn (his hometown), Ohio (his homeless life) and Los Angeles.
His rep said the series is already plotting a second season, which will highlight other people deserving of a second chance.
Williams became an overnight sensation earlier this year after the Columbus Dispatch posted a clip of his voiceover skills online. The newspaper had discovered Williams holding a sign advertising his skills along an Ohio highway.
