HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Sooo...he's back after all.
Arnold Schwarzenegger will resume his acting career after wrapping up his duties as the 38th Governor of California last month.
"Exciting news," the Terminator star wrote on Twitter Thursday. "My friends at CAA have been asking me for 7 years when they can take offers seriously. Gave them the green light today."
Schwarzenegger, 63, appeared in only a handful of movies after taking office in 2003, including last year's The Expendables.
His exit from the state drew widespread criticism when he granted clemency in a manslaughter case to the son of a key political ally.
